The 'Goni Skirt' is made of 100% cotton, providing a lightweight and cool wearing experience. It has a clean and loose fit with a basic design and pocket detailing. The rounded bottom hem and side slits give it a neat finish, and the waistband adds flexibility to the item. The skirt is designed to be matched with a short jacket for a modern Zen style.
In the past, Hanbok style was perceived by Koreans as having a full silhouette, but looking at the history of Korean clothing, traditional Korean lines did not always have such a full silhouette. We felt the need to bring tradition into a more modern feeling, and started matching these comfortable and well-made skirts with short jackets. Therefore, the skirts produced are designed to be comfortable and easy to mix and match for modern individuals. However, although the design may appear simple, the intricate details make it a task that not just anyone can make. Especially, the rounding work on the hem takes time to complete.
The skirt is made with a comfortable elastic band, spacious pockets, a restrained silhouette, and naturally processed cotton fabric that adds a luxurious feel. These are the traces of our efforts to create clothes that are comfortable to wear.
The TETEROT team did not coordinate with the traditional Hanbok style but instead matched it with a loose fit blouse made of lightweight and comfortable Ssanggyeong fabric - to create a style that wraps the body comfortably anytime, anywhere, rather than for a special occasion.
Cotton, hemp, and Ssanggyeong are the main fabric keywords for our TETEROT team. Among them, we used cotton, which was processed to have a slightly crisp feeling, to amplify the feeling of a modern style. The crispness of cotton is quite different from that of nylon or polyester; it is quite luxurious and comfortable. And because it is a summer skirt, it is not thick or heavy. It has the perfect thickness for wearing during summer - not too thick to make you feel hot, and not too thin to make your underwear visible. When making bottoms for the summer, we always have this concern. We made samples with various fabrics and solved the homework related to sewing difficulties in detail.
Pink or ivory tones are not completely transparent, but if you wear them with skin-tone innerwear, it will not be a problem.
Size tips:
1. Model A - 163cm tall, 27-inch waist, wearing size S. The fit is loose, and the length falls between the calf and ankle.
2. Model B - 169cm tall, 29-inch waist, wearing size S. The length seems to reach the ankles, and it has a sophisticated and nice length. I saw the team sewing it in DdaDdaRots Salon, and I like it even more now that it's actually out. I have been waiting for this item. The size S fits me well, so I purchased it in size S.
3. Model C - 154cm tall, 34-inch waist, wearing size M. The length reaches the ankles. Even though I don't have pretty legs, it doesn't look cumbersome and I like it. I can wear it without alteration. Especially, the elastic band of the clothes released this time is comfortable. I didn't have high expectations for this item, but even when I wear it, it's fine. I wore a size M, and although it's not a perfect fit, it's not too tight, so it seems to fit well
